An inspiring, thought provoking site for all ages. The North Star web site is a great source of creativity, activities, inspiration and thoughts about education and learning that can be used in the classroom or at home.

FableVision
The FableVision web site has some fun, meaningful stories that can be read and enjoyed free online by people of all ages. On the FVP site, there's also a cool interactive writing activity called "The Prune" that kids should check-out.

Multiple Intelligences: A Theory for Everyone

ARTSEDGE: The National Arts and Education Information Network
Linking the arts and education through technology. This site has some great lesson plans that incorporate art and creativity across the curriculum. Some of the lessons also touch on diversity, multicultural awareness, and social skills.

CLWG: Children's Literature Web Guide
Great source of information about children's books, publishers, and other resources.

Distinquished Women of the Past and Present
An impressive collection of biographies of women who have contributed to our culture in many ways. The biographies can be accessed by field/profession (for example - art, exploration & adventure, medicine and science, performing arts, astronomy, etc.).
